Manufactured from uniform, twisted strands of collagen which are treated to retain tensile strength longer than plain catgut.

Packaged in a hydrating fluid containing isopropanol and water.

Uses - Chromic catgut sutures are intended for use where an absorbable suture or ligature is indicated.

Sterilised by Gamma Irradiation.
